On Tuesday, 10 of the Water Explorers were in a competition called Junk Koture. The aim is to make an item of clothing out of reused materials. Using materials like, chicken wire, video tape and other recyclable materials, our students wore them on display in The Helix. We think this is important because it shows that you can use recyclable materials to make clothes, and other things.
From modest beginnings in 1995, Global Action Plan Ireland have grown into a mature, national organisation that empowers as many communities as possible to adopt a greener lifestyle and thereby play their role in protecting planet Earth.
