We had already planned and constructed our poly tunnel to encourage people to grow their own food. We decided a good way to spread awareness of secret water in food and Food Miles was to create a cookbook. We spent a lot of time researching seasonal recipes to reduce the food miles and perfecting them using some ingredients from our poly tunnel. The whole experience was so rewarding and gave us a great insight into secret water and food miles. We launched our book in school and we are proud to say we have created a cookbook that is seasonal and will reduce food miles and increase awareness of secret water in food.
