Making old good again
Post related to Thirsty paper

With an enlightening visit from the Water Explorer team, the eco-club of Emkelebantwana now have a better understanding for how water is used and wasted in not just our showers, sinks and taps but in just about everything we buy, consume and throw away. Did you know there is 10 litres of water used to make every sheet of paper. That’s right, water is not only used in the growing of the trees, the machinery and the palp making but also polluted because of the bleaching process. If we recycle out paper, we not only save the earth from more pollution but also save water, carbon, raw materials and ultimately money in the process. In this lesson we were taught the paper making process and then proceeded to reuse our paper by making paper mache bowls.
