Grey Water : Winter has never been this Waterfilled for us. It's been 5 years since I joined the school this is the first year where we didn't experience drought. We love planting the only issue was having water in winter. Through water explorer we learnt about Grey Water, recycle it , reuse it. All our learners bring bottles and bottles of grey water for our lovely garden. Most of the active learners are from Grade 2, 3 and 5.

During this dry season WE taught us that we can't run dry. For the very first time in 5 years I have been at the school we have never had so much water in winter.

WATER EXPLORER helped us raise awareness on saving water and reusing it. How so? Save the water you bath with bring it to school. We now have a garden made out of all sorts of trash. Taking from what we can do with old stuff  #thetrashionshow There is more to recycling than we thought. Miss Mazibuko the Principal of Mphephetha Primary with all the staff members gathered and worked as a team with +- 20 to 30 Learners in this amazing gardening experience with the use of old kettles, pots, shoes, oil plastic bottles, broken basins, sacks, old roof gutter , 2litre bottles , wheel narrows  etc. Check this out not forgetting the Grey WATER each learner brings to school for us to water our plants. Thank you WE.
