Rap tap tap
Post related to Rap tap tap, Global Water

This challenge was done by all Environmental Society members and by grade 8 GO. We started by listening to an example of a rap about water. We then studied how water is treated before it arrives at our houses and were amazed at what water treatment involves. We had fun predicting the percentage of people with access to fresh water in various countries. We were wrong on many counts. We found it hard to believe that 95% of South Africans have access to clean water – we thought it would be a lot less.
We then got into groups and made up raps about water and performed them in front of the class. This was a lot of fun. The best ones will be presented in front of the whole school at our water festival (if we are awarded one).

The Environmental Society also mad theirs a competition and prizes were awarded to the best two raps.
