Post related to Drenched or dry?, Global Water

The Grade Four Water Explorers enjoyed their challenge today! We adapted the Drenched or dry challenge and made water cycle bags. It was linked to what we are learning in Natural Science (changes of state). As a class we discussed the effects of droughts and floods and what environmental factors can cause them to occur. We learnt about what causes global warming. The learners enjoyed making the water cycle bags in pairs as well as learning different terminologies. We learnt a water cycle dance with actions to help remember the words. As a class, we learnt how important the water cycle is and climate change. What could we do to help prevent global warming? The class thought about how they could start at home with recycling and reusing water.
