Ending a Wetland Month:Mighty Panos with an essential write up on wetlands
Posted by Panorama Primary, South Africa on 6 March 2020

After they have rehabillitated their wetland Mighty Panorama learnt about the importance of conserving their wetland area, they now have an upper hand since they know their ecological, social & economic values a wetland provide for free. They were tasked to design their wetland area which will depict the natural ecosystem of a wetland and write up about the importance of wetland and how it sustain and is a habitat for more plant & animals since it is biodiverse and has abundances of nutrients that enables water loving plants to grow in. They have seen the importance of having a wetland in their school since in times of heavy rain the wetland prevented floods and controlled erosion.
