Wetlands, our future is in your hands
Posted by Panorama Primary, South Africa on 25 March 2020

Whilst some of the children today were hard at work digging up the garden in preparation for seed beds, the others took rest in the library, a perfect opportunity to reflect on last terms lesson on wetlands and design their own posters. Wetlands they learnt are not just homes to endangered animal like the Pickergill Frog and Wattled Crane, they also provide a source of storage and filtration for our water. These beautiful posters reflect a healthy wetland, a goal that we should all be striving towards. Unfortunately, increased transformation, buildings and roads have degraded our Wetlands and SA has lost up to 60% of their former wetlands. Let’s work together for the sake of our precious ecological services.
