Last week, we began planning a Swap Shop , to save secret water. We wanted to get the whole school involved, so we started making posters to advertise our Swap Shop. We held a poster competition in the class as well for the shop. We went around to every class in the school, explaining what we were doing and why we were doing it. Everybody seemed to be really enthusiastic to help.
On Friday, we held the Swap Shop in our classroom. Pupils and teachers brought in clothes, DVDs, toys and books to swap. We set our classroom up like a shop with our own items and people from other classes came in and swapped their stuff for ours. We felt it was the perfect time of the year to do it coming up to Christmas. As there were some items left over at the end of the day, we will be donating them to a charity.
