Mulching saves more
Posted by Bhekizizwe Primary , South Africa on 23 October 2019
Post related to Grow it yourself!,

In June our environment club collected dried up grass to do mulching. We do this to prevent weed from growing in our garden,so that water will not perish quickly but will take time and to make our plants warm - this has been critically important during the dry winter months and even more so now with the soaring temperatures and the fact that the spring rains have still not arrived. Besides saving water the mulch also adds nutrients back into the soil - have you mulched lately?
