Years 5 & 6 have been busy upcycling their old school uniforms. They have been learning about the amount of water that is used to make the T-shirts and their guesses as to how much water was used was 'way off'! They brought in old white polo shirts for Outdoor Learning and used blackberries and elderberries which they collected in the school grounds to dye them. Using knots to tie the T-shirts they created tie-dye patterns on the fabric.
Later they will be worn by the Eco-Team at their Water Explorer Assembly and in London at the Water Explorer Celebration event, it will be quite a show!
