WATER EXPERIMENT: SOLUBLE OR INSOLUBLE



TODAY, WEDNESDAY 20TH DECEMBER, WE HAVE DONE AN EXPERIMENT ABOUT SUBSTANCES THAT ARE SOLUBLE OR INSOLUBLE IN WATER.

IT IS SOLUBLE IF IT DISAPPEARS IN WATER

IT IS INSOLUBLE IF IT DOESN’T DISAPPEAR IN WATER


WHAT WE HAVE USED:

5 SPOONS
5 GLASSES

SUGAR
SALT
OIL
EARTH
STONES


WHAT WE HAVE DONE:

- WE HAVE PUT THE SUBSTANCES IN WATER , STIRRED AND WAITED.
- WE HAVE OBSERVED:


1 OIL DOESNT’T DISAPPEAR: IT IS INSOLUBLE

2 SALT DISAPPEARS: IT’S SOLUBLE

3 SUGAR DISAPPEARS; IT’S SOLUBLE

4 STONES DON’T DISAPPEAR: THEY ARE INSOLUBLE 

5 EARTH DOESN’T DISAPPEAR IN WATER: IT’S INSOLUBLE
