PARENTS AND LEARNERS VOLUNTEERED ENTHISIASTICALLY TO GET INVOLVED IN PLANTING NEW VEGGIE SEEDLINGS INTO OUR GARDEN. WE SPENT THE DAY SHOWING AND TEACHING LEARNERS WHAT THE DIFFERENT VEGGIE SEEDLINGS WERE. PARENTS AND LEARNERS CLEANED UP AND DUG OUT ALL THE OLD PLANTS, THEN WE PLANTED NEW SEEDLINGS. WE PLANTED TOMATOES, GREEN CHILLIES, GEM SQUASH, DIFFERENT HERBS, PEAS, SPINACH AND CABBAGES.

LEARNERS WERE GIVEN THE RESPONSIBILITY TO TAKE CARE OF THE GARDEN. ONCE THE VEGGIES HAVE GROWN WE WILL HARVEST THEM AND GIVE THE VEGGIES TO OUR GROUND STAFF.
