Wetland glory
Posted by Panorama Primary, South Africa on 16 October 2019

On Thursday we started our wetland project cleaning up the waste in the area and replanting wetland with wetland specific plants like yellow hot pokers or Kniphofia linearifolia and a number of sedges and wetland grasses. We are hoping with the rains in October our wetland will soon be brimming with life. Already we have seen some of the Widow birds like the Bishops and Fan Tails in their beautiful summer plumage coming to visit. Hopefully, some more curious critters will join in!!
