The Mpophomeni Enviro-club are part of the Mpophomeni Conservation group and together they held a community workshop last Saturday. More than 60 people attended and got involved! Six activities were laid out which included doing a mock miniSASS to claculate how polluted the stream was, learning how to use a turbidity tube to measure the clarity of water, discussing water issues using the "Tale of Two Rivers" poster, doing street theatre and finding out how to become a DUCT Eco-champ...  People from the community and other school enviro-clubs were introduced to the Water Explorers programme, and encouraged to make a water pledge and get involved!
