Samkelo, Water explorer reports: Our water explorers collected 15 bags of clothes. We gave Zimbambeleni old age home and  Katsi youth in action which is based there. The girl guides joined the water explorers and they provided some clothes and party snax. A prayer was given and girl guides did song and dance Mrs N.T Mkhize gave a talk on saving water. Pastor Sakhile lead in prayer and we had lots of fun. The old age home appreciated our donations. I then calcuted how much on an average each bag had. Since it takes 10855 litres to make one pair of jeans and takes 2700 liters to make one tshirt and on each bag we had 15 tshirts and 8 jeans. I therefore multiplied the number of certain items with the amount of water it took to make that particular item (10855 litres multiplied by the number of jeans 8 which gave us 86 840 litres) and multiplied by the number of tshirts 15 and got a total of 40 500 l. We got a final total of 1 910 100 litres donated to the Home.
