Nzuzo, Linda and Ntando at our local river (Mdeza), learning about water safety

In this lesson learners learnent that water is an amazing natural resource .In our home we find that we dont have taps and we collect water from the river and dams  .Even if we suppose to collect our water there,  we must keep in mind that there are some sort of dangers . Before we go to the river we must know that how safe it is to go there . We must not just go there if we dont know how deep the river is. We must use the safe path and children should not play alone in rivers ,they must be under the supervision of an adult ..Some dams and rivers are habitat to many animals and we must respect that they live there too .However is some cases we should not collect water where there are dangerous animals like crocodiles .They must  also share that information with their parents because most of the time, parents come home from work at late hours and and may need have to go and get water for cooking and house hold activities so they should be aware of these dangers too.
