Shea O'Connor has always had a reputation for being a " green" school. When you first enter the school ground, the first thing that stand out are the rich vege patches lining the corridors and playgrounds. Each class has adopted a spot to weed, water and love. Children use grey water from the dish washing basins to water the garden and every available pot, spot and container has fresh produce sprouting out. In this picture, the old dish washing pot that was too rusted to use for cooking and now been refurbished into a ornamental vegetable garden giving it a fresh look. We are always thrilled to see Shea O'Conner original gardens, nurturing many learners to develop green fingers and a love for nature.
