During our Eco Club lesson the Water Watchers learnt about alien invasive weeds. We covered why they are weeds, why they are alien and why they are so invasive.  With the use of posters they learnt to identify them and then went on a walk-about to test their skills. We did unfortunately find some around the school grounds.  So we got busy straight away and eradicated them! Those weeds at the bottom of the field, where it was too steep to go, were eradicated by our alien invasive weed eradicator who came and sprayed them. So now VPS has tamed our alien invasive weeds and we will keep a sharp lookout to see if any of them try to invade our school once again!
