Water Explorers doing their bit!
Water Explorers doing their bit!

We made the target and collected well over 2000litres. It was amazing to see how seriously some of our team took this challenge. One lady from our community helped us by collecting the much needed bottles for collecting the water. We awarded her a special award for being an amazing Water Explorer at the end of term assembly. Two of our learners Khangelani and Siyabonga were amazing champs. They managed the grey water collection from all the learners every day and ensured the water was stacked and then distributed onto the gardens. During break they would go and collect the grey water from the kitchen staff and also collected any food waste for composting and made sure it got to the right place – the garden and the compost heap. Well done team!
