Mr Reed's Grade 7 Class got together and decided to write a Water Saving Rap on Water day 22.03.2018.

Well Done to Mr Reed and his class for taking this initiative.  Woodridge Preparatory School is very proud of your great work!

WATER DAY RAP

South Africa is in a drought

So we need to save water before we run out

There are many ways to become the change that we want to see

So it’s time to show some responsibility

People around the world get water in different ways

Saving water is vital cause if we don’t we will run out in a few days

Taps, tanks and buckets are ways to save

Otherwise if we don’t it will take us to the grave

Drip drip drop drop

You have to make the water wastage stop

Take a shower to smell like a flower

You will be on the wrong path

If you choose to take a deep bath

We all have a part to play

Let’s protect our environment and don’t let it be something we just say

There are many ways to become the change that we want to see

So it’s time to show some responsibility

Woodridge Prep is committed to put this change into action

Let’s reduce our water usage by a large fraction

With continued understanding and implementation

We will begin to help save this nation
