Wetland Excursion
Posted by Howick High School, South Africa on 23 March 2018

On the 28st February our Enviro-squad instructors Mrs C. Smith and Mrs K. Keough took our club on and excursion to the closest wetland near our school. We experienced first-hand the characteristics and structure of wetlands, we answered questions on wetlands while we were there and had to use the knowledge we had learned previously to answer them. We had great fun collecting litter while we were ther, even some out of the trees. We also made some Wetland Awareness posters which we took along. It was a very interesting experience for all of us. We had great fun and learnt a lot!
