Making eco-bricks

Our Grade 1 group had a lesson on the devastation caused by plastic in Rivers and Estuaries, and how the plastic can pollute the water. In order for the water to stay clean, it needs to be litter free.

The Grade 1\'s learned that all you need is a 2l plastic bottle, a stuffing rod, sweet and chip wrappers, and the will to make a difference to our planet. They learned that water from a polluted river would make people sick, and cause harm to the Eco-System. They also learned that their Eco-Bricks can be used to build houses and walls.
