Moringa Magic
Posted by Ebomvini Primary , South Africa on 13 February 2019

Today the Oasis team were each tasked with bringing in 2 litre bottles of grey water to feed our thirsty garden. We then learnt about this marvellous plant called the Moringa Tree. Not only can we use the vitamin and mineral packed leaves as a nutritional supplement for our feeding scheme, we can also use the bark, flowers and roots for medicinal purposes. We later cut our grey water bottle in half to make recycled plant containers, made some holes at the bottom to facilitate drainage and planted our precious little Moringa seeds. One side of the garden is now destined to be a Moringa plantation.
