Post related to Thirsty paper

Today we did the thirsty paper challenge. We had 18 learners involved and 2 teachers. About 250 people will be made aware of this challenge because we will debrief the whole school with teachers revising the concepts taught in their own classroom. The children really enjoyed the presentation and making the paper bead bracelets. I observed that learners are excited about learning about recycling and knew a lot of the questions Julia asked. We also received some vegetable plants for our new garden and plan to install tippy taps by our children’s toilets in an attempt to recycle our water. Looking forwarding to sporting our upcycled clothing in the up-coming Dargle Howick Trashion show.
